Position Overview:
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer-II to build and maintain infrastructure, deploy applications, and automate operational tasks. This role requires expertise in developing CI/CD pipelines, automating deployments, and ensuring system reliability. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with modern DevOps tools and processes and thrives in collaborative environments. This role requires an active TS/SCI. This role can be performed in Colorado Springs, Maryland, Reston, or Washington DC. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and related tools.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible.
  • Monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and implement performance enhancements.
  • Collaborate with developers to integrate and deploy code securely and efficiently.
  • Manage cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
  • Support software release cycles and ensure high availability.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 4-7 years of DevOps or related IT experience.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with source code management tools (Git, GitLab).
  • Working knowledge of monitoring tools like Splunk or Datadog.

Additional Requirements:

  • Applicants MUST be based in the United States and be U.S. citizens.
  • Applicants MUST have an active TS/SCI
  • Completion of a federally mandated criminal history background check is required within 30 days of hire.
