Job Title: Machinist

Position Overview

The Machinist is responsible for operating CNC machines, manual lathes, and other machine tools to produce high-quality precision components that meet strict engineering and safety standards. This role requires reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, setting up and adjusting equipment, and performing accurate measurements to ensure parts are machined to exact specifications. Working closely with engineering and quality assurance teams, the Machinist helps troubleshoot machining issues, optimize workflows, and maintain smooth production operations. The position also involves deburring and finishing parts, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Through precise workmanship and technical expertise, the Machinist plays a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of final products and supporting the companyโ€™s commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC machines to manufacture precision parts according to engineering specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements.
  • Set up, adjust, and maintain machine tools, including tool and die equipment, for optimal performance.
  • Perform precision measuring and inspection of machined parts using appropriate gauges and instruments.
  • Deburr and finish components to meet quality standards and prepare parts for assembly or shipment.
