- Assembles utilizing MIG and TIG Welding equipment as well as a plasma torch
- Process parts according to shop drawings using appropriate welding and measurement
- equipment on which they are qualified with minimum supervision.
- Produce quality parts in a safe and efficient manner with minimal to no spatter.
- Minimizing scrap.
- Good housekeeping of equipment and area adjacent to machines to which they use or
- are assigned, daily.
- Report to Supervisor any malfunction, damage or need of repair to any equipment of
- which they become aware.
- Accurate and diligent processing of any clerical forms such as time sheets, scrap
- reports, etc.
- Use required safety equipment and apparel.
- Passes Navy Tech Pub exam and welds according to standard
