The Work
Our Sensor Architects organization is seeking an expert in precision timing synchronization to support advanced capability development for distributed systems. In this role, you will:
Investigate, design, and implement innovative timing and networking capabilities to achieve system-of-systems performance requirements and missions.
Identify technology insertion opportunities in support of capability roadmaps, identify and mitigate performance and execution risks.
Facilitate team development, building technical depth and expertise in timing and networking.
Support the planning and execution of development and integration activities; working with systems, software, and hardware teams to coordinate designs and schedules.
Lead design reviews, system demos, flight tests, element and system level verification activities, and system certification.
Execute integration and test activities, evaluate test results, investigate discrepancies, technically assess anomalies, and drive them to resolution.
Represent the organization on contracts and interface with internal and external customers, program and senior leadership, and multi-disciplinary teams on significant technical matters.
