Salary Range: $84,000.00 to $101,000.00


The anticipated salary range represents the estimated base pay for this role. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors, and may vary from the posted range

The Role

Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledges technical, schedule and cost constraints. Develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for completing systems. Coordinates integrated testing activities. Reviews and evaluates test requirements to insure completeness of test program. Performs technical analysis of complete systems and prepares comprehensive system level evaluations.


Experience with the following ships systems on RCOH or new construction carriers to include but not limited to: Machinery Control and Monitoring (MCMS), Alarms (CKT FD and FL), Lighting Systems (general ship, darken ship, NEALS and REBAL, hangar bay, searchlights, catwalk lighting and floodlights, flight deck and landing area, night flight and navigation and signal).


Must Have

Bachelor's Degree and 0 years of relevant exempt experience.


Newport News Shipbuilding requires a Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program.
