TITLE: Business Development & HOA Sales Representative

DEPARTMENT: Sales

REPORTS TO: Sales Manager

FLSA STATUS: Exempt


The Business Development & HOA Sales Representative is responsible for driving company growth through a combination of strategic business development, relationship management, lead generation, sales execution, and account development. This position serves as the primary contact for identifying new market opportunities, developing partnerships, managing HOA sales activities, maintaining a healthy sales pipeline, and converting opportunities into revenue.


The ideal candidate is equally skilled at building long-term strategic relationships and executing day-to-day sales activities. They will work across all business lines to increase market presence, generate qualified opportunities, strengthen community partnerships, and achieve sales objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Business Development

Identify and develop new markets, business opportunities, and strategic partnerships across 

all lines of business.

Build and maintain relationships with homeowners associations (HOAs), community leaders, 

developers, builders, and other key stakeholders.

Research market trends, competitive activity, and expansion opportunities.

Collaborate with leadership and marketing teams to increase brand visibility and market 

awareness.

Develop and implement strategic growth initiatives that support company expansion goals.

Represent the company at trade shows, association meetings, networking events, and 

community functions.

Support long-term business planning through market intelligence and opportunity 

assessment. 


Sales & Account Management

Manage the complete HOA sales process from prospecting through contract execution.

Conduct outbound prospecting activities, including cold calling, email outreach, and followup communications.

Qualify and develop leads generated through business development efforts, referrals, and 

marketing campaigns.

Conduct site visits within HOA communities and new developments.

Gather market intelligence from builder sales teams and community stakeholders.

Verify exclusivity areas and report competitive activity to leadership.

Maintain accurate customer records, opportunities, activities, and pipeline information within 

Navusoft.

Coordinate bulk pickup scheduling and service-related needs for HOA customers.

Prepare proposals, presentations, and contract documentation.

Negotiate agreements and close sales opportunities.

Meet or exceed established sales and revenue targets.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Communications, or related field preferred; 

equivalent experience considered.

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, account management, or a 

related role.

Proven ability to generate new business opportunities and close sales.

Strong networking, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.

Experience managing a sales pipeline and CRM system.

Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.

Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally for meetings, site visits, and events.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with HOAs, property management companies, residential services, or 

community associations.

Knowledge of territory development and market expansion strategies.

Experience participating in industry associations, networking groups, and trade events.

Familiarity with Navusoft or similar CRM platforms.

Working Conditions

The working conditions of this position are variable and dynamic and include in office environments with extended periods of sitting, standing, and using manual dexterity to operate computer-based systems as well as driving throughout the service area and outside meetings and events.
