Job description

Salary Range: $90,220 - $140,000

Help the Navy modernize aircraft navigation systems with the latest GPS technologies.

Essential Job Functions: work independently and as part of a team to evaluate vendor and government led inegrations for upgrading GPS navigations systems with the latest multi-frequency technologies. Review software and hardware requirements, design documentation, test plans, test procedures, and other technical documentation.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, minimum 8 years of experience, at least 3 years of experience supporting aircraft avionics integrations of GPS navigation systems, preferably into military aircraft.

Good written and oral communications. Ability to work efficiently with Microsoft Office products. Ability to work independently and as part of multiple teams.

Desired Skills:

Familiar with NAVAIR Systems Engineering Technical Review processes. Familiar with Navy acquisition regulations and processes. Master's degree in aeronautical, systems, electrical, or computer engineering.
