Job description

Provide junior-level naval architecture support for Navy ship maintenance, modernization, lifecycle sustainment, and engineering initiatives. Support technical analysis, ship configuration management, engineering documentation development, and modernization planning activities for aircraft carrier and naval vessel programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support naval architecture and engineering analysis activities
  • Assist with ship design modification reviews and technical documentation updates
  • Support development and maintenance of ship configuration documentation
  • Analyze technical drawings, specifications, and engineering data
  • Assist with maintenance planning and modernization initiatives
  • Support lifecycle sustainment and engineering assessment activities
  • Coordinate with Government engineering and technical personnel
  • Prepare technical reports, presentations, and engineering documentation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or related engineering discipline required
  • Minimum 2 years professional experience supporting naval engineering or shipbuilding activities preferred
