Job description

Dishwasher - Job Description

We have an immediate opening for a dishwasher position at a bakery/café in the Clearwater/Safety Harbor area.  No night work involved.  Candidate must be able to work in a team-oriented, high volume, fast paced environment. As the Dishwasher, you will primarily be responsible for ensuring the complete cleanliness of the work environment according to safety and sanitation procedures and guidelines.  This will include:

Washing and maintaining pots, pans, dishes, trays, glass and silverware and all other kitchen utensils and equipment;

Trash removal and related duties;

Maintain consistent bathroom cleanliness;

Help with loading and unloading product and supplies;    

Performing end-of-the-day clean-up responsibilities which includes sweeping and mopping kitchen floors;

Performing all janitorial tasks and other duties as assigned;

Fully bilingual a plus.

This job requires walking and standing for long periods of time, continuously wiping, bending, reaching, carrying, lifting and stooping, and the occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.

Preferred candidate must be organized and present a well groomed and hygienic appearance.  He or she must be a team player with a positive and professional attitude, and must be able to interact with colleagues to help maintain a positive work environment.   

Qualified candidate must be punctual, available to work weekends, must have reliable transportation and must live within 20 miles of jobsite . Only qualified and serious candidates need apply.
