Position Summary:

This position is responsible for providing cashiering services to customers.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to:

  • Sells and redeems chips
  • Cashes personal checks and other negotiable instruments
  • Processes cash advance transactions
  • Issues and redeems markers, front money, safekeeping deposits and withdrawals
  • Exchanges foreign currency and processes Western Union checks
  • Balances to an impressed amount daily

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists patrons with information and directions

Minimum Education and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must have previous money handling experience

Competencies: Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:

  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Accurate and timely transactions with patrons

Training Requirements:

  • Knowledge of ACSC, Global Cash Access and ERP computer systems
  • Knowledge of the casino computer management system

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Must be able to work in a smoking environment
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours
