Job description


Commercial Roofing Service Technician/ Helper for Roofing Repairs and Maintenance.

At Nations Roof, we’re not just fixing roofs; we’re building trust, ensuring safety, and delivering excellence across the board. With a diverse portfolio of local, regional, and national clients, we’re proud to be a leader in the commercial roofing industry. We’re expanding our team and are on the lookout for a dedicated Service Technician/ Helper to join our dynamic Service Department.

The Role:

As a Service Technician, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting our Service Foreman and delivering top-notch service to our clients. Your day will be diverse and fast-paced, involving everything from project work and repairs to inspections and troubleshooting. You’ll also have the opportunity to interface directly with customers, driving a company vehicle to various job sites, and assisting in multiple projects daily. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Service Foreman with various project tasks and repair work.
  • Conduct inspections and troubleshoot leaks efficiently.
  • Interface with clients professionally, addressing their concerns and providing exceptional service.
  • Drive a company vehicle to transport tools, materials, and yourself to job sites.
  • Support hands-on project work across multiple projects daily, ensuring high standards and timely completion.
  • Learn to read and understand work orders, manufacturer warranties, and project specifications.
  • Maintain basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of PPE, fall protection, and other necessary precautions.
  • Represent the company and interact with others in an honest, ethical and professional manner at all times

Requirements:  

  • Experience in commercial roofing or a related field, preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, manufacturer warranties, and technical specifications.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
  • A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to travel locally when required 
  • Ability to pass OSHA 10
