You will play a key role in the development of new and existing business as you provide high-level leadership for your sales team, creating and implementing strategies that will enable them to maximize guest bookings. National Sales Manager

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a National Sales Manager and we would welcome the opportunity to speak to you regarding this position as well as to answer any questions you might have regarding the company.

Job Responsibilities

Essential Responsibilities: The person in this position are seasoned hospitality sales professionals working on top producing accounts in the following fashion:

  1. 1. Identify and recommend prospective customers by reviewing historical and other statistical information (market segment), participating in conducting customer interviews and preparing customer call analysis reports.
  2. 2. Solicit accounts for meeting and catering business directly and jointly with others through the preparation and execution of action plans.
  3. 3. Within established parameters, quote and negotiate prices with customer representatives sending proposals, drawing up License Agreements to be signed by the customer, with approval of Director of Sales.
  4. 4. Upon closing, coordinate and follow up with event manager to ensure delivery of superior customer service.
  5. 5. Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual reports as required by Director of Sales & Marketing.
  6. 6. As directed, compile and input market intelligence information into Sales Force.
  7. 7. Attend weekly meetings as directed.
  8. 8. As directed, participate in tradeshows, conventions and promotional events within the Center, the industry and customer organizations. The ability to travel for multiple days to events or on sales missions.
  9. 9. Achieve individual revenue goals by quarter and annually.
  1. 1. Three-five years Hospitality meeting sales experience.
  2. 2. Corporate/Convention Sales experience handling large-scale meetings, tradeshows or conventions.
  3. 3. Must have excellent prospecting skills and a proven track record of closing business and meeting goals.
  4. 4. Sales Force experience preferred.
  5. 5. Microsoft Office
  6. 6. Excellent communication skills both in verbal and written abilities.
