Position Summary

The Sales & Operations Manager is responsible for leading business development initiatives while overseeing daily operational activities to ensure organizational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and sustainable business growth. This position serves as a strategic leader, managing client relationships, sales performance, operational processes, and cross-functional teams within the semiconductor and high-tech manufacturing industry.

The ideal candidate is a results-driven leader with experience in sales, operations, project coordination, and customer relationship management. This individual will develop new business opportunities while ensuring operational excellence and successful project execution.

Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue and growth objectives.

  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the semiconductor, manufacturing, and high-tech industries.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.

  • Prepare proposals, quotations, contracts, and presentations for customers.

  • Conduct customer meetings, site visits, and business reviews.

  • Negotiate pricing, service agreements, and contract terms.

  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop business growth strategies.

Operations Management
  • Oversee daily business operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

  • Coordinate activities between Sales, Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, Finance, Human Resources, and Operations.

  • Monitor operational performance, project schedules, budgets, and resource utilization.

  • Develop and improve operational procedures and workflows.

  • Ensure projects and customer deliverables are completed on schedule and within budget.

  • Resolve operational challenges while implementing effective solutions.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare operational reports for leadership.

Leadership & Team Management
  • Lead, coach, and mentor sales and operations personnel.

  • Establish performance goals and conduct employee evaluations.

  • Foster a collaborative, customer-focused, and results-driven work environment.

  • Support recruiting, onboarding, training, and professional development initiatives.

  • Promote continuous improvement, accountability, and operational excellence.

Team Responsibilities

As the Sales & Operations Manager, you will provide leadership across multiple departments while ensuring alignment between sales objectives and operational execution.

  • Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Procurement, Project Management, Finance, Logistics, Human Resources, and Executive Leadership.

  • Lead cross-functional meetings to review business performance, project status, and customer requirements.

  • Ensure clear communication between departments to support efficient project execution.

  • Partner with project teams to successfully transition new customer opportunities into active projects.

  • Work closely with finance to monitor budgets, profitability, forecasting, and revenue performance.

  • Build strong partnerships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and strategic partners.

  • Encourage collaboration, innovation, and continuous process improvement throughout the organization.

  • Promote a culture centered on safety, customer service, accountability, and operational excellence.

QualificationsRequired
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, operations management, business development, or project management.

  • Experience working within semiconductor, manufacturing, construction, engineering, or other high-tech industries.

  • Proven experience managing customer relationships and leading cross-functional teams.

  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM/ERP systems.

Preferred
