Associate Director, Commercial Vehicle Industry Sales Leader

The Team:
The Polk Commercial Vehicle Industry sales team is uniquely focused on understanding the distinct needs of commercial vehicle industry customers across a geographically diverse market. We foster an innovative, autonomous, and collaborative culture where team members have the opportunity to make significant impact in achieving double-digit growth within this key segment of the mobility industry. This role offers exceptional exposure to industry leaders and the chance to shape the future of mobility solutions in the commercial vehicle space.


Responsibilities and Impact:
- Lead and manage a high-performing sales team to drive revenue growth for Mobility Global solutions within the Commercial Vehicle Industry sector

- Develop and execute strategic sales plans targeting OEMs, Fleet Management Companies, and Upfitters to achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets

- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key decision makers at major commercial truck industry accounts

- Collaborate with product development and marketing teams to identify market opportunities and influence product roadmap based on customer feedback

- Provide sales coaching, mentorship, and performance management to direct reports while fostering a culture of accountability and results

- Represent Mobility Global at industry conferences, trade shows, and customer events to enhance brand visibility and generate new business opportunities

What We're Looking For:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in B2B technology or automotive industry

- Proven track record of managing and developing sales teams while consistently achieving revenue targets of $10M+ annually

- Deep understanding of the Commercial Vehicle Industry ecosystem including OEMs, Fleet Management Companies, and Upfitters with established network of contacts

- Experience with consultative selling methodologies and complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles

- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with ability to translate market insights into actionable sales strategies

- Willingness to travel up to 50% and ability to work from Southfield, MI office in a hybrid capacity

Additional Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or advanced degree with specialization in sales management, business development, or automotive industry focus

- Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Microsoft Dynamics along with sales analytics and forecasting tools

- Previous experience selling data analytics, mobility solutions, or SaaS platforms to enterprise-level commercial vehicle or automotive industry clients

- Demonstrated success in new market penetration and account expansion within the transportation or logistics technology sector
