(Physician/MD qualifications required) Hematology and Oncology - This Search has reached Critical status and the client has asked me to resubmit this post. This statewide private practice, a national leader in advanced cancer treatment and research, with more than 40 medical oncologists, is seeking one to two board certified|board eligible Hematologists|Oncologists for their office in Blairsville, GA. This practice will provide mostly outpatient services with minimal inpatient and call coverage services. Having such a large, specially trained medical staff, and an affiliation with Northside Hospital of Atlanta, allows the practice to bring the latest in cancer treatment, technology, therapy for blood disorders, and clinical trials right to our patients. The practice is accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR)and is a private cancer practice with 29 offices, 44 physicians and over 500 support staff located in Metro Atlanta, North and Central Georgia, Southeast Tennessee and Southwest North Carolina. The Decatur and Marietta locations are members of the Georgia CORE Research Network, a statewide network of academic and community-based oncologists and researchers. The practice offers community-based medical oncology and hematology services, in addition to a wide range of support services for patients in Georgia, including nutritional counseling, pain management, wellness counseling, and home health coordination. The focus of the practice Research Department is to bring targeted cancer therapy to communities.
