Job Opportunity: General Surgeon

Our organization is looking for a Board Eligible or Board Certified General Surgeon to become part of a well-established and successful surgical team at our facility in Warner Robins. The selected physician will address the healthcare needs of patients in accordance with their licensing, training, and credentials, engaging in patient care activities that align with the responsibilities of a General Surgeon. Additionally, the physician will contribute to maintaining a robust practice volume.

The role includes participation in on-call duties, as well as active involvement in meetings and committees. The physician will practice medicine in line with current national patient safety objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive patient care within the scope of General Surgery.
  • Engage in on-call duties as required.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and committees.
  • Adhere to national patient safety goals in all medical practices.
Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree is required.
  • Possession or eligibility for a valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in Georgia.
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in General Surgery.
  • Valid DEA certificate without restrictions.
  • Preferred experience in both outpatient and inpatient medical settings.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are essential.
