Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a full-time Nurse Coordinator-Registerered Nurse to support the Federal Occupational Health Clinic at the Federal Trade Commission (Z3K) in Washington, DC.

Position Highlights:

  • Excellent work/life balance | Clinic Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Freedom from weekend, holiday, or on-call responsibilities
  • Low-stress environment, focusing on employee health
  • Care for adult employees working at the Federal Building, not the public

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care in an occupational health setting including: first aid, emergency response, provision of treatments prescribed by a personal physician, assessing and monitoring environmental hazards for special classes of employees, promoting optimal employee wellness, & risk-based prevention programs
  • Provide education to clients (BP monitoring, flu immunizations, etc.)
  • Coordinates, plans, and implements all administrative activities (order medical supplies, etc.)

Position Requirements:

  • 2 years of RN experience providing direct patient care required
  • Must be able to perform a blood draw and intramuscular and subcutaneous injections
  • Graduate from a National League of Nursing accredited school (Diploma, AD, or BSN)
  • Basic Life Support Certification (BLS)
  • Active RN licensure in any of the 50 states, active and unrestricted
  • Minimum 1 year supervisor/management experience preferred
