Job description

This position will report to Nash Plumbing and Mechanical, LLC, a subsidiary of HB Global. Job Summary
Installs, assembles, fabricates, maintains, and repairs mechanical piping systems and equipment for Nash Plumbing and Mechanical, LLC projects, ensuring adherence to blueprints, specifications, and safety standards.
Job Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications to determine piping system layouts, dimensions, and materials required.
Cut, and assemble pipes, valves, and fittings using various tools and techniques (e.g. brazing, soldering).
Install pipe supports, hangers, piping and mechanical equipment according to project plans.
Inspect, examine, and test installed systems and pipelines to locate and repair leaks or other deficiencies.
Collaborate with other tradespeople and supervisor to ensure efficient project completion.
Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, as well as relevant industry codes and regulations.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and properly care for tools and equipment.
Provide accurate documentation of work performed, including materials used and hours worked.
Job Qualifications
Proven experience as mechanical pipe installer, preferably in industrial or commercial settings.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Strong knowledge of various piping materials, tools, and installation techniques.
Experience with different pipe joining methods (e.g. brazing, soldering, mechanical connections).
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects, working in confined spaces, and at heights.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
