Ladybird Montessori School is an American Montessori Society (AMS) verified/accredited private school in Buda, TX (20 miles south of Austin, TX.) We have expanded our program and have a dedicated middle school serving students ages 12–15. 
The middle school has access to a STEAM maker-space with a science lab and NASA curriculum, and a covered recreational pavilion. Students will have regular access to the STEAM maker-space building, making experience in STEAM education a strong asset for this role.
We have a close-knit, deeply supportive community at Ladybird, our staff truly feels like extended family. We are looking for a Guide who is passionate about Middle School Montessori education, has strong math and science skills, and a commitment to inquiry-based learning.

Requirements
•       Montessori MACTE-approved AMS or AMI Secondary Certification, or willingness to attend a month-long training at the Houston Montessori Center this summer (lodging provided)
•       Current State of Texas Teacher Certification
•       Bachelor’s Degree
•       Minimum of 4 full years of middle school teaching experience, with professional references
•       Open-mindedness and enthusiasm for learning to facilitate lessons in a maker-space environment
•       Experience with STEAM education preferred
