Job description

Job Summary:

We are looking for welcoming, enthusiastic, hardworking, customer-oriented individuals to fill the rolls of Narrator. You will describe the sights on the St Mary’s River and how the Soo Locks operate, as well as tending the bow line, and seeing to the safety of the passengers. No experience is necessary as there is on the job training on how to handle lines and boat safety.

Primary Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Narrate
  • Signal Upper Deck Lines
  • Tending Bow Line
  • Passenger Safety
  • Sweeping and/or mopping of the upper deck of vessel
  • Clean benches
  • Clean inside of pilothouse
  • Clean Pilothouse windows
  • Count passengers as the board the vessel
  • Empty Trash

Knowledge, Skill and Experience Requirements:

  • No experience necessary
  • Must be able to pass a drug test
  • Must be 18 years or older
