Special Inspector, NAQTC & ACI — Certified Inspectors Who Want the Hours

Reno, NV | Full-Time, Hourly (Non-Exempt) | $30 – $38/hour by cert level + OT at time-and-a-half

The Opportunity

This is not a beginner posting. Our client — a well-established, Reno-based consulting engineering firm providing special inspection and construction materials testing across Northern Nevada — is hiring NAQTC-certified Special Inspectors who know their way around an active site and want the hours. With 5–6 day weeks and mandatory overtime at time-and-a-half, the paychecks stack up fast — and adding your ACI cert bumps you into the higher pay tier immediately.

The Money Talks

  • $30–$34/hour with NAQTC certification
  • $34–$38/hour with NAQTC + ACI — the ACI cert literally pays for itself
  • OT at 1.5x over 40 — and OT is guaranteed
