Assistant Teacher Infants & Toddlers
Location: Nicollet Public Schools - NECC, Nicollet, MN
Schedule: Full-time | MondayFriday | Hours between 7:00 AM5:30 PM, 35-40 hours per week
Pay: $15.00$20.00 per hour, will pay for experience in a licensed daycare setting.


About the Role:
NECC is seeking a warm, dependable Assistant Teacher to support our Infant and Toddler classrooms. This position focuses on providing nurturing care, following daily routines, and creating a safe, loving environment for young children.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily routines and classroom activities
  • Provide hands-on care including diapering, feeding, and comforting
  • Maintain consistent nap, meal, and play schedules
  • Keep the classroom clean, safe, and organized
  • Use gentle, positive guidance with children
  • Follow all health, safety, and licensing requirements

Requirements:

  • Must meet MN DHS Rule 3 qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 18 years old
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Preferred: Experience working with infants or toddlers Caring, patient, and reliable
