Job Summary:
The Pre-K & Clinical Assistant is an integral role of the daily functions and operation of the therapeutic preschool program and facility. This position works closely with the administrative team, preschool lead, preschool team, and all other therapists to support daily operations of the program.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • None

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Clean and sanitize the clinic, including classrooms, common spaces and treatment rooms.
  • Assist with drop off and pick up procedures for therapeutic preschool clients.
  • Prepare all preschool clients' meals throughout the day.
  • Restock office and classroom materials as needed throughout the day.
  • Report supply needs to Admin team.
  • Organize the supply and material closets.
  • Supervise nap time.
  • Step in for coverage/support team as needed; including staff late arrivals/call offs.
  • May often perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • 1-2 years experience working in a daycare, therapeutic facility or related organization
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and diplomatic skills when interacting with children and adults.
  • A strong ability to multi-task and remain focused and good-humored under pressure.
  • Ability to jump into any situation with energy and eagerness.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, experience with MS Access a plus.
  • Ability to work comfortably with quickly shifting priorities and interruptions.
  • Ability to use discretion with confidential information, as this position is exposed to information regarding families and students that must be kept confidential at all times.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to work moving and walking around continuously throughout the day
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
