Nannies In Area information

What is a nanny?

Nannies in your area are childcare professionals who provide personalized care for children, usually in the family's home. Their responsibilities often include supervising children, preparing meals, organizing activities, helping with homework, and sometimes light housekeeping related to the children. Nannies can work full-time or part-time, and their duties may vary based on the family's needs. They are distinct from babysitters, who typically provide short-term or occasional care. Hiring a nanny can provide consistency and one-on-one attention for your children.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a nanny?

To thrive as a Nanny, you need knowledge of child development, basic first aid/CPR certification, and experience caring for children of various ages. Familiarity with household management tools, scheduling apps, and safety protocols is often beneficial. Patience, strong communication, and reliability are critical soft skills that foster trust and positive relationships with both children and parents. These skills ensure the children’s safety, provide a nurturing environment, and support smooth daily routines for the family.

What are some common challenges nannies in the area may face when working with multiple families or children of different ages?

Nannies often work with families who have children at various developmental stages, which can present challenges in managing differing schedules, needs, and activities. Balancing the demands of infants, toddlers, and school-aged children requires flexibility, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to adapt communication and care strategies. Additionally, nannies may need to coordinate with parents and other caregivers to ensure consistency in routines and discipline. Open communication and a proactive approach to scheduling and problem-solving can help nannies navigate these challenges successfully.

Job description

Diesel Mechanic Apprentice – Build a Career, Then Run Your Own Truck

Looking for a hands-on career with real growth? Join the team that keeps Phoenix fleets on the street.

At KTS Enterprise, we don’t just hire techs, we build them. This is a ground-up training program designed to turn driven, accountable individuals into high-performing diesel technicians who can operate independently in the field. 3-6 month training program.

This role is based out of Chandler, with initial training completed at our Phoenix shop.

Schedule & Training Path

  • Training Phase (Phoenix): Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Post-Training Schedule (Chandler): Monday–Friday, 5:30 AM – 1:00 PM

This is not a sit-in-the-shop role. You’re being trained to operate in the field and manage your own day.

How You Grow (and Earn More)

You’ll work through ~77 structured skill checklists covering everything from PMs to diagnostics and heavy-line repairs on Class 4–8 medium-duty trucks.

  • Starting pay: $18/hr
  • Each completed checklist = $0.10/hr raise
  • Complete all ~77 → ~$25.70/hr

Typical progression:

  • Year 1: $37,000+
  • Year 2: $50,000–$60,000
  • Year 3: $70,000+ potential

Performance-based. Move faster, earn faster.

What This Role Becomes

You’re not just learning to wrench. You’re being developed into a lone wolf mobile diesel technician.

That means owning:

  • Your schedule
  • Customer communication
  • Parts ordering and job planning
  • Finding and identifying work in the field
  • Running your truck like your own operation

After the program, you step into a Mobile Diesel Technician role with your own truck.

Earning potential:

  • Bonuses based on billable hours
  • Skilled techs average $35–$60/hr (hourly + bonuses)
  • Your output = your income

What You’ll Work On

  • Class 4–8 medium-duty trucks and fleet vehicles
  • Preventative maintenance (PMs)
  • Brakes, suspension, driveline
  • Electrical and diagnostics
  • A/C systems and general repairs

You’ll move from shadowing → hands-on → solo work as you prove capability.

What You’ll Get

  • Paid training and uniforms
  • Employer-paid medical, dental, vision
  • 401(k) + company match + PTO/Sick pay
  • Clear career path with no ceiling
  • A team that develops techs the right way

Built on our core values:
P.L.A.C.E.D. (Persistent, Loyal, Accountable, Communicative, Ethical, Dependable)

Who We Are

KTS Enterprise is a locally owned mobile diesel repair company serving fleets across the Phoenix metro area.

We specialize in medium-duty fleet service (Class 4–8), handling everything from PMs to major repairs, primarily in the field.

We’re building techs who can think, operate, and produce, not just follow instructions.

This Job is NOT for You If

  • You need someone standing over your shoulder telling you what to do
  • You struggle to show up on time or stay consistent
  • You don’t like early mornings (5:30 AM start after training)
  • You’re not comfortable talking to customers
  • You avoid responsibility or accountability
  • You’re just looking for a paycheck, not a career
  • You don’t take pride in your work

This Job IS for You If

  • You want to build a real skillset that pays for life
  • You like working with your hands and solving problems
  • You want independence and control over your income
  • You’re competitive and want to get better every week
  • You can be trusted to handle your business without babysitting
