Job Overview:

Pay Range: $15.42hr - $20.42hr

Requirement/Must Have:

• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal instructions.
• Understanding of and ability to utilize electronic data collection systems and computer software packages.
• Ability to prioritize work by determining the sequencing and timing of different jobs based on precedence and importance.
• Ability to handle and maneuver small components and parts.
• Ability to make critical decisions and judgments with minimal supervision.
• Ability to use a microscope for 50% to 90% of the work day based on line assignment.
• Ability to work overtime on Fridays and Saturdays based on business needs.
• Adherence to cleanroom dress code including non-shedding clothing and closed-toe/closed-heel shoes.
• Compliance with hygiene standards including no makeup, nail polish, or strong fragrances in production areas.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and repetitive assembly operations and processes under direct supervision.
• Ensure that relevant job documentation for cell operations and functions is accurate and up to date.
• Troubleshoot issues and apply interpersonal skills such as conflict resolution and active listening within a self-managed team.
• Communicate ideas, problems, and solutions clearly to manufacturing management in both written and oral form.
• Represent the organization positively during tours by demonstrating techniques and sharing appropriate information.
• Support and follow the organization’s policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives to enhance production processes.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on applicable equipment to maximize efficiency and safety.
• Maintain accurate records to ensure parts are traceable and quality issues are addressed.
• Apply basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
• Collaborate with management to monitor individual goals and cell performance metrics.
• Support divisional initiatives related to Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Environmental Management Systems (EMS).

Nice to Have:

• 6 months of experience working in a medical or other regulated production environments.
• Previous medical device, manufacturing, or assembly experience.
• High school degree or equivalent.
