Job Description
Aspira Spa Nail Technicians perform professional nail, hand and foot treatments. They are knowledgeable on products and treatments and are able to provide beauty solutions to meet the needs and requests of guests. Nail Technicians provide AAA 4-Diamond experiences and customer service to all guests to create guests for life.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of nails, including a basic knowledge of hand and foot massage techniques and a neat application of polish
  • Be on time for shifts, prompt with each appointment and perform services within the appropriate time allotted for the service
  • Provide consistent professional nail, hand and foot treatments in accordance with Aspira Spa protocols and accepted certification practices
  • Properly care for equipment and use proper amounts of product to assist with cost controls
  • Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products while educating guests and providing them with effective beauty solutions
  • Actively promote home care programs, meeting minimum retail sales goals
  • Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa’s policies and procedures
  • Perform prep work, properly clean and restock room as required
  • Communicate to management any occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention
  • Actively promote the spa, treatments, services and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available
  • Handle guests’ questions, concerns, and requests professionally and promptly
  • Possess the ability to work without direct supervision
  • Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment
  • Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the spa
  • Maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data
  • Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management
  • All other duties as assigned by department Director and/or Executive Team members
Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must hold and maintain a current state license for Nail Technician
  • Experience in Wellness Industry in similar position preferred
  • CPR certified (recommended)
  • Must have flexibility in time to meet the business needs of the spa (ie. have availability on weekends/holidays)
  • Ability to learn quickly and accurately
  • Must have a friendly and outgoing personality
  • Must possess excellent customer service, communication, and listening skills
  • Have basic computer knowledge
  • Must be a team player
