Aerospace Maintenance Technician (Industrial/ Manufacturing)  

Location: Grand Prairie, Tx

Shift: Days- 6:00AM-2:30PM

Starting Pay: $31.05/hour

Eligibility: Only U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, and political asylees or refugees are eligible to apply.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives!

Primary Responsibilities

· Perform routine maintenance and inspections on industrial machinery and equipment.

· Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and implement effective repairs.

· Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce equipment failures and extend machinery life.

· Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

· Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption.

· Maintain accurate maintenance records and report on equipment status.

· Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

· Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.

· Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.

· Support continuous improvement efforts in facilities repairs.

· Operate material handling equipment includes forklift, scissor lift, and SkyTrac safely and efficiently.

· Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills.

· Perform general facilities maintenance work.

· Fabricate parts for repairs and machine upgrades as needed.

· Communicate effectively with production team members and maintain clean work areas, including the maintenance shop.

· Ensure a safe work environment by following PPE and lock-out/tag-out procedures.

Qualifications

· Required  3 years of experience as an industrial maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment.

· Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

· Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.

· Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.

· Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

· Good communication skills.

· Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime or shifts if required.

· You must have a reliable personal vehicle and a valid driver’s license to travel between two plant locations.

· Experience operating forklift, scissor lift, and SkyTrac safely and efficiently.

· PLC experience is desired.

· Demonstrated sense of urgency in completing tasks.

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to lift heavy equipment and tools.

· Ability to push/pull 51 lbs. or more.

· Comfortable working in various environments, including confined spaces and heights.

· Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods
