What does a Forklift Operator do at Swire Coca-Cola?ย 

The forklift operatorย moves products or materials in a production or warehouse environment using powered industrial equipment and/or vehicles with an extremely high focus on safety and the safety of others. Work is conducted in a very fast-paced environment where productivity expectations are high.ย

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 2PM start time until finished
Pay: $22.20/hr

Job Level: 1ย 

Responsibilities:

  • Operate industrial vehicles and equipment to relocate products or materials within a warehouse facility. Transport raw materials, full goods and/or finished goods to designated area to meet requirements. Efficiently load and unload palletized and/or non-palletized products / materials in or out of designated trailers and/or route trucks to meet scheduled delivery time. Ensure that products / materials are stacked, stored, and secured in compliance with regulatory/company policies and procedures
  • Ensure proper dunnage is loaded on transport trailers to secure the load to prevent materials from tipping, falling, etc
  • Perform daily inspection and minor maintenance (as needed) on equipment to ensure safe operation of equipment
  • Ensure proper rotation of product
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Forklift certified or a willingness to be trained and become certified within 1 month
  • Driving record must meet Swireโ€™s vehicle policy
  • Work weekends and holidays as directed by the business
  • Lift 50 pounds
