Job description

Responsible for, but not limited to, performing the inspection of incoming and outgoing products to ensure that the dimensional, chemical and physical properties of each item conform to the machining drawings and designs, as well as the material specifications relevant to each item.
  • Adhere to both RPC and Thru Tubing Solutions policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to both industry and company safety policies.
  • Maintain a percentage of 90% of classroom and online training with goal of 100%.
  • Experience in the use of Precision Measuring Instruments such as calipers, micrometers, durometers, material hardness testers, surface finish comparators, and thread gauges.
  • Uses basic knowledge of geometric dimensional tolerance as found on technical drawings such as concentricity and perpendicularity.
  • Interprets and reads engineering drawings, company and customer specifications to ensure accurate part manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of ASTM, API, NACE, and ANSI standards.
  • Performs inspection of incoming products, ensuring proper paperwork is received and parts conform to specifications, engineering and purchase order prior to accepting shipment.
  • Requires occasional heavy lifting.
  • Tasks may vary based on products produced for inspection.
  • Perform other assignments and/or duties as required.
