Job description

Corrosion Control Resources is looking for a CP II technician to join our team. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, able to work independently, and responsible. Work will be primarily engaged around DFW metro area, occasional travel 5-10% from time to time may be possible. Will perform cathodic protection and other corrosion protection related work.

Responsibilities

·        Ability to pass annual background check

·        Ability to pass annual and random drug screen 

  • Must have a clean driving record

·        Capable of working independently and overseeing 1-2 general laborers at times

·        Skillfully uses CP equipment

·        Properly cleans and maintains equipment so that it is ready for use each shift

·        Capable of following industry test methods to perform quality control testing and repair

·        Recording documentation of work completed and communication with supervisor 

·        Following all CCR and customer site safety guidelines, reporting safety issues to a supervisor and avoiding unsafe work practices or using equipment without training 

  • Creating reports and databases, proficient with MS Office.
