Job description

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
You'll join Nike's Store Development team, partnering closely with Nike Direct, Marketplace Strategy, Finance, Legal, and Analytics. Reporting to the Director of Real Estate Operations, you will operate at the intersection of real estate, strategy, and business performance -helping shape Nike's physical footprint and marketplace presence across North America.
This is a highly cross-functional role with exposure to both strategic planning and deal-level execution, requiring close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for a real estate and strategy generalist with strong industry grounding and the ability to connect insights to decisions.
You understand how retail real estate works-from trade areas and portfolio dynamics to deal structures and lease considerations-but your differentiator is your ability to synthesize information and communicate it clearly through compelling narratives and presentations.
You are not just an analyst - you are someone who can take inputs from across teams (real estate, finance, analytics) and translate them into clear stories that drive alignment and decision-making.
The ideal candidate:
  • Balances real estate acumen with strategic thinking
  • Is a skilled synthesizer, able to distill complex inputs into clear takeaways
  • Excels at building executive-ready presentations that influence decisions
  • Is comfortable working with data, but focused on application vs. heavy modeling
  • Brings a practical understanding of deal flow and portfolio management

WHAT YOU BRING
  • Ability to work in Beaverton, OR
  • 5+ years of experience in retail real estate, real estate strategy, consulting, or related field
  • Working knowledge of retail real estate fundamentals (trade areas, site selection, lease structures, portfolio management)
  • Exposure to deal processes, including LOIs, site evaluation, and negotiations
  • Experience supporting or managing real estate portfolios and performance tracking
  • Familiarity with BI tools, dashboards, or reporting, with emphasis on translating insights into business context
  • Proven ability to build clear, structured, and visually compelling presentations for senior stakeholders
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Degree or equivalent experience in Real Estate, Business, Finance, or related field

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
You'll support both strategic planning and real estate execution, helping Nike make informed decisions about its physical marketplace.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Support development of marketplace and real estate strategies across Nike's retail ecosystem
  • Contribute to portfolio management, including performance tracking, optimization, and identification of marketplace gaps
  • Assist in deal flow processes, including site evaluation, LOI review, and support for negotiations in partnership with Real Estate and Legal teams
  • Analyze and contextualize store performance, trade areas, and market dynamics to inform decision-making
  • Synthesize inputs from analytics, finance, and real estate partners into clear strategic insights and recommendations
  • Build executive-ready presentations that communicate opportunities, risks, and trade-offs
  • Translate data and analysis into compelling business narratives - leveraging visuals (charts, maps, frameworks) to support the story, not drive it
  • Support the evolution of tools, templates, and reporting to improve clarity and consistency of insights
