Job Description:

Job Summary

Responsible for supporting IT vendor management activities across the procurement and contract lifecycle. Applies working knowledge of vendor performance monitoring, contract administration, and procurement processes to ensure compliance with policies and timely delivery of products and services. Collaborates with IT, procurement, finance, and vendor partners to track agreements, resolve issues, and maintain accurate records. Contributes to process improvements, relationship management, and reporting to support efficient and cost-effective vendor operations.


Essential Functions

Supports the preparation and processing of RFIs, RFPs, purchase requests, and renewals in accordance with procurement policies.

Monitors vendor performance against service-level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs); escalates issues as needed.

Assists in reviewing contracts, amendments, and renewals to ensure terms and obligations are tracked and documented.

Maintains vendor records, contracts, and procurement documentation in contract management systems.

Tracks purchase order status, delivery of goods and services, and resolution of invoice or payment discrepancies.

Prepares standard reports on vendor performance, contract milestones, and procurement activity for management review.

Generates standard vendor performance reports and contributes data for executive dashboards and reviews.

Collaborates with IT stakeholders and vendors to clarify requirements, resolve routine issues, and ensure service delivery.

Responds to customer and stakeholder requests related to vendor contracts, procurement, or performance, escalating contract disputes, compliance concerns, or high-impact vendor issues to senior staff or Vendor Management Office leadership.

Contributes to process improvements in vendor management, procurement workflows, and reporting practices.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience Requirement: 2+ years of experience An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. All experience must be paid and in the same related field. Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week. Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.
