Role Descriptions: The MySQL Database Administrator will be responsible for installing| configuring| and maintaining MySQL environments. They will handle schema management| indexing| and optimizing database performance. The role includes managing MySQL replication and high-availability setups. Additionally| the DBA will perform recovery operations and ensure data integrity. Participation in on-call rotation for production incidents is also required.
Essential Skills: Experience with AWS cloud services is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with monitoring tools like Grafana or CloudWatch is beneficial. Exposure to DevOps tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI can enhance a candidates profile. Knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Redis is a plus.
