About the Facility - Myrtle Beach VA Clinic
This VA facility offers a range of outpatient services including primary care, mental health care, geriatrics, and radiology. Patients can access consultation, evaluation, and treatment for various conditions such as psychiatric disorders, PTSD, anxiety, and addiction for Veterans.

Primary Care Physician - RESPONSIBILITIES (listed are included but not limited to)
  • The Physician will provide services to the surrounding CBOC facilities.
  • Conduct comprehensive medical assessments of patients to establish diagnoses.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in line with the best medical practices.
  • Provide ongoing primary healthcare to patients, including physical examinations, health screenings, and immunizations.
  • The Physician collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
  • Counsel and educate patients on health and wellness, including lifestyle modifications and disease prevention.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and patient information.
  • Participate in on-call rotations as required.
  • The Physician keeps current with medical advancements, best practices, and continuing medical education.
Primary Care Physician - REQUIREMENTS
  • Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
  • Certifications: Must be ABIM or ABFM certified.
  • Licensure: State medical license and DEA registration.
  • Experience: Minimum of twelve (12) continuous months of experience within the last thirty-six (36) months performing services similar in scope to those defined herein, in a public or private institution.
