What You'll Do

As a Music Therapist with ViaQuest, you'll use evidence-based music therapy interventions to help individuals achieve meaningful goals and improve their quality of life.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing individualized music therapy services in home and community settings
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, families, caregivers, and other providers
  • Developing and implementing person-centered treatment plans
  • Utilizing a strengths-based clinical approach
  • Communication
  • Social interaction
  • Emotional regulation
  • Attention and focus
  • Body awareness and coordination
  • Using music to promote neurological functioning, improve communication between the brain and body, and encourage purposeful movement
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and participating as an active member of each individual's support team
Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Music Therapy
  • Board Certification (MT-BC)
  • Valid Indiana driver's license
  • Reliable transportation and proof of automobile insurance
  • Willingness to travel throughout your assigned service area
Preferred
  • Experience providing Medicaid Waiver services
  • Experience with Neurologic Music Therapy
  • Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
