The Music Coordinator is responsible for the designing and implementing programs with the Music Studio at the Germantown Neighborhood Center. Individual must be able to start and achieve new programs. This individual will be expected to work mainly late afternoon/evening hours.

1. PROGRAM MANAGEMENT
Creating a welcoming environment for all within the surrounding community and beyond to explore the possibilities of Music (both instrumental and vocal). Individual must have the ability to work with people both one-on-one and small groups, exposing all to a range of musical styles.

Builds relationships with and among participants, responds to inquiries and solves problems. Creates a safe and supportive community environment, and connects participants to the YMCA's cause.
3. FACILITY MANAGEMENT
Work with Director to provide program facilities for participants that are safe, clean, adequately equipped, well-maintained, and attractive.
4. VOLUNTEER DEVELOPMENT
Builds and develops volunteer capacity, sharing the social responsibility.
5. COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT & SUPPORT
Works toward building relationships with Community Partners to raise awareness of Music Studio. Assists in YMCA fund raising activities/events, and engages in collaborative relationships with community organizations in order to strengthen support and build community.
