Job Description:

Audacy is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and driven Sales Assistant to support our growing media and sales team. This is an ideal role for someone looking to build a career in media sales. You will work closely with Account Executives to ensure flawless execution of advertising campaigns across multiple platforms including radio, digital, social, podcast, and streaming and more.

You will play a key role in supporting strategic planning, media proposals, and account management to help deliver and drive new business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Support & Campaign Execution:

  • Research target companies, industry news, and business trends to uncover insights that support sales outreach.
  • Develop value-based research(VBR) points that align with prospect needs and position our solutions effectively.
  • Assist Account Executives in preparing proposals and building strategic media plans
  • Track emerging industry themes and competitor activity to keep the sales team apprised of market developments.
  • Maintain organized research notes within Salesforce/CRM to ensure insights are actionable and easily accessible.

Client Communication & Relationship Management:

  • Serve as a liaison between clients and internal departments to ensure campaign objectives and timelines are met.
  • Help manage day-to-day communication and support requests from clients and internal departments such as marketing, and brand managers.
  • Coordinate with the Traffic Department on creative assets, instructions, and troubleshooting.

 Administrative & Reporting Tasks:

  • Create and update sales presentations, media kits, and one-sheets.
  • Consolidate and analyze campaign data to support strategic recommendations and reporting.
  • Maintain organized research notes within Salesforce/CRM to ensure insights are actionable and easily accessible.

Team Collaboration & Learning:

  • Participate in sales meetings, trainings, and client events as needed.
  • Stay up to date on new media products including podcasting, streaming, OTT, email, SEO/SEM, and social advertising.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance processes and client offerings.
Qualifications

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in media, advertising, marketing, or sales support.
  • Familiarity with paid social platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok) and digital marketing best practices.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong research and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to translate business news and trends into meaningful sales insights.
  • Self-starter with curiosity about industries, companies, and market drivers. 
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred:

  • Experience with campaign management or ad operations tools (e.g., Wide Orbit, Salesforce).
  • Radio or audio industry background a bonus.
