Overview:

101.5 Lite FM, Miami’s heritage AC has a rare opening for On-Air Personality / Music Director. We’re looking for a natural communicator who thrives on creating entertaining, engaging and relevant content on the air and social media. If you understand the importance of community and how to connect on all platforms concisely and creatively, we want to hear from you. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years of both on-air experience and music scheduling in the Adult Contemporary format with a thorough understanding of the AC audience and lifestyle.

What You'll Do:

  • Responsible for daily airshift
  • Create original content for all social media platforms; managing online personality presence
  • Schedule music logs
  • Monitor the music and commercial logs for the airshift
  • Ensure that promotions and contests are executed properly
  • Operate the control board and perform production work
  • Make personal appearances at station events and remote broadcasts
  • Other duties as required by management

Required & Preferred:

  • Minimum of five years experience in the AC format on air and scheduling music.
  • Must have a thorough understanding of the adult contemporary format, audience and lifestyle
  • Must be an excellent communicator with strong creative skills
  • Must have solid production skills and a strong working knowledge of studio audio equipment necessary for on-air and production execution, including on-air digital systems such as Wide Orbit, Vox Pro and voice-tracking software.
  • Organizational skills a must as well as ability to multi-task
  • Proficiency across major social media platforms and an understanding of podcasting and on demand content
  • Gselector and AC music scheduling experience a plus
  • A valid driver’s license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of applicant’s own vehicle, proof of insurance, is required.
