The Manager, Artist Marketing, is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that elevate the promotion of artists performing across Tao Group Hospitality's nightlife and daylife portfolio. This role serves as the primary marketing liaison between Tao Group Hospitality, artist management teams, talent buyers, creative teams, and internal marketing departments to ensure every artist performance is supported by compelling, on-brand marketing campaigns and premium content. The Manager, Artist Marketing, will oversee the creation and execution of artist-specific marketing assets, promotional campaigns, social content, and digital storytelling designed to maximize audience engagement, ticket sales, and artist visibility. This role requires a strong understanding of music culture, entertainment marketing, social media trends, and premium hospitality while maintaining the integrity of both the artist's brand and Tao Group Hospitality's luxury positioning.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive artist marketing campaigns for performances across Tao Group Hospitality nightlife and daylife venues. 
  • Serve as the primary marketing contact for artist management regarding promotional initiatives and marketing deliverables, ensuring timely replies across all artist marketing requests. 
  • Create artist-specific marketing timelines ensuring all campaign milestones and promotional assets are delivered on schedule. 
  • Work with artist teams to execute Artist Music Promotional Acknowledgement Agreements, securing approval for Marketing's use of artist music in show promotions. 
  • Coordinate with artist representatives to obtain approved assets, photography, logos, biographies, social media content, promotional videos, and usage rights. 
  • Collaborate with other marketing stakeholders to develop compelling digital and print marketing materials that align with both artist branding guidelines and Tao Group Hospitality brand standards.
  •  Manage the creative workflow through project management platforms, ensuring timely review, approvals, and delivery of all artist marketing assets. 
  • Partner with Digital Marketing and Social Media teams to develop artist-focused content strategies across all owned channels. 
  • Work closely with artist mangers and record labels to extract marketing Ideas, content and promotion.
  • Coordinate artist promotional obligations including social content, venue appearances, and cross-promotional opportunities when applicable, following up directly with artist teams as needed.
  • Ensure artist and venue websites are kept current with accurate performance dates, event details, and functioning ticket purchase links. 
  •  Maintain artist audits on artist social media support and current tour date listing across all artist-controlled websites.
  • Work closely with Talent Buying and Programming teams to understand upcoming artist schedules and marketing priorities. 
  •  Ensure artist campaigns maintain consistency across all marketing channels including digital, social, website, CRM, paid media, and venue collateral. 
  • Monitor artist marketing performance through campaign analytics and audience engagement metrics, providing recommendations for future optimization. 
  •  Research music industry trends, emerging artists, social media best practices, and fan engagement opportunities to continually evolve marketing strategies. 
  • Collaborate with Public Relations teams to maximize earned media opportunities surrounding artist performances. 
  • Support the creation of behind-the-scenes content, artist arrival moments, performance highlights, and recap content that extends audience engagement beyond event night. 
  • Coordinate with Sponsorship and Partnership teams to ensure artist marketing campaigns appropriately integrate approved brand partners when applicable. 
  • Maintain organized libraries of artist assets, creative files, marketing approvals, and campaign documentation. 
  •  Foster positive working relationships with artist management teams to deliver a seamless and premium marketing experience. 
  •  Assist in developing innovative artist storytelling initiatives that strengthen Tao Group Hospitality's reputation as a premier destination for world-class entertainment. 
  • Support special artist announcements, residency launches, exclusive performances, and major entertainment initiatives across the portfolio. 
  •  Assist with additional marketing projects and responsibilities as assigned.

EDUCATION/WORKING KNOWLEDGE:

  •  Bachelor's degree in marketing, or similar discipline
  • Minimum of three to five (3-5) years of nightlife / hospitality-based venue marketing management experience with proven track record of financial and creative marketing programming success
  • In depth knowledge of various subgenres of dance music.
  • Proficient in Windows Microsoft Office, POS systems, Oracle knowledge preferred
