Job description

Amazon Music is an immersive audio entertainment service that deepens connections between fans, artists, and creators. From personalized music playlists to exclusive podcasts, concert livestreams to artist merch, Amazon Music is innovating at some of the most exciting intersections of music and culture. We offer experiences that serve all listeners with our different tiers of service: Prime members get access to all the music in shuffle mode, and top ad-free podcasts, included with their membership; customers can upgrade to Amazon Music Unlimited for unlimited, on-demand access to 100 million songs, including millions in HD, Ultra HD, and spatial audio; and anyone can listen for free by downloading the Amazon Music app or via Alexa-enabled devices. Join us for the opportunity to influence how Amazon Music engages fans, artists, and creators on a global scale.
The Amazon Music Experiences team is seeking a Campaigns Manager to own the full lifecycle of experiential campaigns sold to brand partners.
This role sits at the intersection of sales enablement, brand partnerships, and campaign execution, owning both the pre-sale and post-sale experience for brands investing in Amazon Music's experiential portfolio. You will work directly with brands and agencies to sell, scope, and deliver world-class experiential activations that connect fans to music and culture in meaningful ways.
As a Campaigns Manager, you will be responsible for building and managing relationships with brand partners and their agency teams, developing compelling experiential proposals, and ensuring flawless execution from signed IO to post-campaign wrap. You will serve as the primary point of contact for brand and agency stakeholders throughout the campaign lifecycle, translating client objectives into activations that deliver measurable results. This role requires someone who thrives in ambiguity, can manage competing priorities across multiple live campaigns, and brings a customer-obsessed mindset to every interaction. You will travel approximately 40% of the time to be on-site at activations, client meetings, and industry events.
Key job responsibilities
Role Summary
**Pre-Sale**
- Develop and present experiential campaign proposals to brands and agencies, articulating the value of Amazon Music's experiential platform and partnership opportunities.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of brand prospects, proactively identifying alignment between brand objectives and Amazon Music's experiential offerings.
- Partner with internal sales teams to craft custom packages that meet brand KPIs while protecting the integrity of the fan experience.
- Lead pitch meetings and RFP responses, tailoring narratives to brand and agency audiences.
- Develop case studies and sell sheets that demonstrate ROI and creative impact of past activations.
- Drive toward and exceed a personal sales goal of $2M+ annually through new business development and renewals.
**Post-Sale**
- Own end-to-end campaign management from contract execution through wrap report delivery, bringing each experience to life with precision and creative excellence.
- Serve as the day-to-day brand and agency contact, managing expectations, timelines, and deliverables.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with production, creative, legal, finance, artist teams, and marketing to deliver on campaign commitments.
- Manage campaign budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting and reconciliation.
- Develop and deliver post-campaign reporting that quantifies brand value, audience engagement, and earned media impact.
- Identify upsell and renewal opportunities based on campaign performance and evolving brand needs.
**Building Experiences and Fan Integration**
- Collaborate with artist teams to ensure brand activations complement and enhance the artist vision, creating authentic moments that resonate with fans.
- Design fan-first experiences that integrate brand messaging organically into the event environment, prioritizing fan engagement over passive exposure.
- Work with internal stakeholders across Amazon Music programming, marketing, and product to align experiential activations with broader strategic priorities.
- Champion the fan perspective in all campaign decisions, ensuring every touchpoint delivers value to the audience while meeting brand objectives.
**Agency and Brand Relationship Management**
- Build trusted advisor relationships with agency planners, buyers, and brand marketing leads, driven by a customer-obsessed approach to partnership.
- Educate agency and brand partners on Amazon Music's experiential capabilities, audience insights, and emerging formats.
- Navigate complex multi-stakeholder environments across holding companies, independent agencies, and direct-to-brand relationships.
- Represent Amazon Music Experiences at industry events, client summits, and agency days.
**Internal Stakeholder Management**
- Manage cross-functional relationships with production, creative, legal, finance, artist relations, and programming teams to ensure seamless campaign delivery.
- Proactively communicate campaign status, risks, and opportunities to leadership and partner teams.
- Operate as the connective tissue between external client needs and internal operational capabilities, translating between both audiences fluently.
About the team
The Amazon Music Experiences team is a pioneering business unit within Amazon Music that operates at the intersection of music, culture, brand partnerships, and live fan engagement. We are an industry-first experiences marketplace, creating a new revenue category by connecting premium brands with fans through immersive, culturally resonant activations tied to Amazon Music's artist programming and tentpole moments.
Our team builds, sells, and executes experiential campaigns that go beyond traditional advertising. We design physical and hybrid activations where brands show up authentically alongside artists and fans, creating moments that drive emotional connection, cultural relevance, and measurable business outcomes for our partners.
What We Do
We own the full lifecycle of experiential brand partnerships, from concept creation through sales through on-the-ground execution and post-campaign measurement. Our work spans:
- **Artist-Led Activations**: Partnering with artist teams to build branded experiences that complement and amplify the artist's creative vision while delivering value for brand partners. Our portfolio includes landmark executions such as Kendrick Lamar's Pop Out Experience, Bad Bunny's Residency Experience, De La Soul's DAISY Experience, and the Amazon Music 50 and Forever campaign celebrating 50 years of HipHop.
- **Live Programming Integration**: Creating brand experiences within Amazon Music Live programming, including the Thursday Night Football television series, where brands engage fans in real-time cultural moments.
- **Fan-First Experience Design**: Every activation we build starts with the fan. We design experiences where brand presence enhances the moment rather than interrupting it, ensuring fans walk away with a memory, not a media impression.
- **Experiences Marketplace**: We have architected a scalable business model that packages Amazon Music's cultural access, artist relationships, and fan touchpoints into a marketplace where brands can invest in experiences across a range of formats, budgets, and objectives.
How We Work
We operate as a cross-functional team embedded within Amazon Music's Global Creative Organization (GCO), partnering closely with artist relations, programming, marketing, production, legal, and finance. Externally, we work directly with brands and their agency partners to develop custom experiential solutions.
Our team thrives in ambiguity. We are building the playbook for a category that did not previously exist at Amazon, which means we move fast, test and learn, and scale what works. We hold ourselves to the standard of delivering world-class creative execution while operating with the commercial rigor of a high-growth business unit.
Our Impact
Since inception, the Experiences team has validated a $25M three-year revenue potential and secured a premium brand pipeline including partnerships with Listerine, Visa, Sonos, and Ford. We have established Amazon Music as a credible player in the experiential marketing landscape, with our leadership recognized as global subject matter experts, including speaking engagements at Advertising Week NYC, IBTM Global Exceptional Experiences in Barcelona, and serving as jurors for experiential marketing awards programs.
Who We're Looking For
We are scaling a team of customer-obsessed builders who combine creative ambition with commercial discipline. Our people are equally comfortable in a pitch room with a brand CMO, on-site at a live activation managing production logistics, and in a room with artist teams shaping the creative vision. If you want to build something new at the intersection of music, culture, and brand marketing, this is the team.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building and optimizing multiple, simultaneous marketing campaigns
- Experience managing or working within cross-functional marketing and creative teams
- Experience delivering paid media campaigns spanning TV, print ads and digital/social channels
- Experience across affiliate marketing, PPC, SEM and social media advertising
- 5+ years of experience in campaign management, experiential marketing, brand partnerships, or media sales.
- Demonstrated experience managing and exceeding a sales goal of $2M+ annually.
- Track record of owning both pre-sale (pitching, proposal development) and post-sale (execution, reporting) workflows.
- Experience selling to and managing relationships with brands and advertising agencies.
- Experience working with artist or talent teams in a live event or entertainment context.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent campaigns with competing timelines and stakeholders in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to senior brand and agency leaders.
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 40% of the time, including evenings and weekends for live activations.

- Experience in digital marketing and content production timelines and process

- Experience working within a marketplace or platform sales environment.
- Existing relationships within the agency and brand marketing ecosystem.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively across multiple workstreams, geographies, and stakeholder groups without dropping balls.
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools for pipeline management.
- Comfort building processes and playbooks from scratch in a scaling organization
