Job Description
Summary of Position: Love good food, killer music, and the thrill of hitting the open road? Join Taco Reho's road show as a member of our Food Truck Staff! At Taco Reho, our food truck Black Betty is more than just a mobile kitchen-it's a full-blown taco experience, and we're looking for high-energy, hospitality-loving crew members to help bring it to life. From music festivals and artist markets to weddings and private gigs, Black Betty shows up to serve SoCal street food with style, and we need Taco Jockeys who are ready to roll. If you're 18 or older, have fast-paced kitchen experience, and want to be part of a team that lives for flavor and fun, you could be the perfect fit for our road crew. Must Enjoy the Ride.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Work onboard our food truck as it rolls into festivals, private events, markets, and other gigs
  • Greet guests at the truck window and serve up genuine Taco Reho hospitality
  • Take orders, ring them in, and serve with speed, accuracy, and a smile
  • Prep, cook, and plate orders with care and consistency-even when the rush hits
  • Educate guests on the menu, daily specials, and what's rockin' on the grill
  • Help with food prep for events and keep the line stocked and ready
  • Monitor the music-it's part of the vibe and part of the brand
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace, following all food safety guidelines
  • Communicate with your crew to keep the gig running smooth
  • Be a brand ambassador on the road-always repping Taco Reho with pride
Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of fast-paced kitchen experience
  • Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and special events depending on the gig schedule
  • Hospitality-driven with strong customer service instincts
  • Organized, dependable, and cool under pressure
  • Able to work in tight spaces and varying outdoor conditions
  • Quick thinker and creative problem solver (MacGyver vibes welcome)
  • Solid communicator and true team player
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
