ABOUT VICTORY LIVE
Victory Live is a private equity backed technology company aimed at maximizing distribution and yield for live event ticket inventory. We provide an end-to-end software platform for the live ticketing industry, managing thousands of sports, theater, and live music event tickets on behalf of artists, promoters, teams, venues, and professional resellers. Victory Live's comprehensive offerings include an established B2B marketplace along with both a full-service and an automated SaaS platform to handle all elements of the ticket sales lifecycle, from ingestion to sales fulfillment.
THE POSITION
The Marketplace Data Analyst will work closely with team members across Victory Live's Marketplace team to help drive smarter decision-making and support business growth. In this role, you will evaluate operational performance across our business, uncover revenue opportunities, and deliver actionable insights that inform strategy at every level of the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Analyze sales performance, pricing strategies, and inventory allocation across events and business units
  • Deliver recurring and ad-hoc reporting on KPIs, revenue trends, and customer behavior
  • Maintain a portfolio of standardized reporting assets, including dashboards and scheduled deliverables that keep internal stakeholders and external partners informed on key performance metrics
  • Identify and communicate growth opportunities through data-backed recommendations on sales strategy, pricing, and channel optimization
  • Support internal stakeholders by creating clear, compelling reports and dashboards that tell the story behind the number, leveraging AI-assisted tools where appropriate to accelerate delivery
  • Monitor industry trends across live events and secondary marketplaces to inform strategy
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner across teams including Partnerships, Business Development, Operations, and Data Products

REQUIREMENTS
  • 3-5 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or revenue strategy, ideally within a data-driven commercial and operations environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with BI tools (e.g., Sigma, Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
  • Experience writing and interpreting SQL queries across relational databases (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, Snowflake)
  • Demonstrated comfort using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) as part of day-to-day analysis and communication workflows, with the judgment to verify outputs and maintain analytical rigor
  • Ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights and translate them into actionable recommendations
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
