About This Role

School Year: August-May

Lead weekly music classes - 7 classrooms

Teach fun, holiday themed & thematic themed songs, fingerplays, etc.

Accountable for all aspects of Music programming for children (Ages Toddlers-Kindergarten) and other musical needs that will be determined, together with the director.

 Summer Camp duties, TBD

Music curriculum (planned and coordinated with Early Childhood Education Director & Camp, Youth and Family Director should include but it is not limited to:

  

Weekly themes

  Basic songs

 Silly children songs

Folk songs

Movement

Pop songs

Dancing


What You'll Do

Teach fun, holiday themed & thematic themed songs, fingerplays, etc.

Requirements

Skills/certifications:

Be able to play guitar; nice to have

         Must be able to learn new music

         Able to obtain a Level 1 fingerprint clearance card


First Aid/CPR/AED Certified (or able to be certified)

Energetic personality

Strong voice projection


Nice To Haves

Desired skills:

Knowledge of Judaic songs or willingness to learn a plus

         Ability to teach new and fun “line/group” dances
