Description
The Department of Radiology and Radiological Sciences at Vanderbilt Health is seeking a full-time nuclear medicine physician or nuclear radiologist to join the Section of Nuclear Medicine / PET-CT. The Vanderbilt Health Nuclear Medicine clinical faculty are leaders in their field with extensive publications in multiple areas including, but not limited to, PET and PET/CT and SPECT and SPECT/CT in the evaluation of neurologic, cardiovascular and oncologic disorders.
Position Highlights:
  • Join a growing section comprised of 9 ABNM certified faculty
  • Support the full breadth of nuclear medicine services including radiopharmaceutical therapies
  • Teach medical students, residents, and fellows
  • Fully accredited Nuclear Medicine residency program, serving both ABNM and ABR pathways
  • Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and tumor boards

Position Requirements:
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Nuclear Medicine residency or Diagnostic Radiology residency with fellowship training in Nuclear Medicine or Nuclear Radiology
  • ABNM eligible/certified or ABR with CAQ in Nuclear Radiology eligible/certified
  • Hold an MD or equivalent degree
  • Eligible for TN medical license
  • Experience in interpretation of general nuclear medicine, SPECT, nuclear cardiology, and PET CT studies
  • Experience in nuclear medicine therapies, including Lu-177 PSMA, Lu-177 DOTATATE, Radium-223 dichloride, and low and high dose I-131
