About the Opportunity
Museum and Institutional Partnerships Intern
David Zwirner seeks a highly motivated Museum and Institutional Partnerships Intern at its New York gallery. This role will support the M&IP team by assisting with research, information capture and data entry, and ad hoc projects as they arise. Candidates should be This role involves significant exposure to proprietary client information, therefore discretion is essential.
Qualified candidates should be highly personable, organized, motivated, and responsible, with an interest in gaining experience in the daily operations of a contemporary art gallery.
What you'll do:
  • Conduct research through print and digital publications.
  • Enter large amounts of highly detailed information into the database.
  • Review and maintain relevancy of information in the database.
  • Gather information on third party exhibitions relating to the gallery's program.
  • Update reference documents with accurate up-to-date information.
  • Coordinate with other DZG departments - including marketing, research, and artist management teams - as needed to accomplish the above.

What we would like you to have:
  • Ability to exercise diligence, be extremely organized, and possess a strong sense of time management.
  • Previous experience with data entry and research is strongly preferred, as is solid knowledge of contemporary art and the domestic institutional landscape.
  • An acute attention to detail.

The internship runs from approximately September 15th - December 12th, 2026. The hours are 10AM - 6PM, 5 days a week. To ensure that our interns have a well-rounded and educational experience, we ask for a commitment of 3 months. All interns are paid NYC minimum wage of $17/hour. All candidates must be residents of NY, NJ, or CT. No lodging or commuting expenses will be provided.
