Physical Therapist - Rehab

Location: Washington, IN

Start Date: 08-05-2026

End Date: 11-04-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Day shift)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Provide skilled physical therapy services in accordance with state and federal regulations
  • Conduct thorough patient screenings and evaluations to identify needs and develop effective treatment plans
  • Design and update individualized treatment and discharge plans to help patients regain function and mobility
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation of services to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehab Techs in line with state practice acts
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families to optimize patient outcomes
  • Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards to deliver high-quality care
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT, MSPT, or BSPT)
  • Active Physical Therapy license in Indiana or the ability to obtain one
  • Strong communication, documentation, and clinical skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to varying facilities, schedules, and patient needs
Education
  • Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT, MSPT, or BSPT)
Knowledge & Skills
  • Comprehensive knowledge of physical therapy principles and practices
  • Proficiency in patient evaluation and treatment planning
  • Excellent clinical documentation skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Understanding of safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
