Security Guard Associate - OvernightsAs a Security Guard Associate, you will secure the property against threats and help ensure a safe guest and team member experience. This position involves monitoring the gates in a heated guard shack overnight and making scheduled rounds on the property. Chanhassen, MinnesotaFull Time$20 per hour, depending upon qualifications and previous military and/or law enforcement experience.Complimentary tour tickets, 20% retail store discount, Valleyfair, SeaLife, Crayola Experience and other employee discounts.ResponsibilitiesRemain awake, alert, and responsive throughout your shiftMonitor electronic surveillance equipment and other security systemsRespond to calls for security service, alarms, and emergency situationsRoutinely patrol and inspect buildings and grounds to watch for and guard against fire, theft, illegal entry, sand other irregularitiesAccurately complete security documents and reports.Participate in all departmental-mandated meetings and training assignments.QualificationsDemonstrate knowledge of basic principles and practices in the security fieldExercise sound judgment in handling crisis situations.Ability to stand, sit, and walk for long periods of timeAbility to climb stairsMust be able to work outside in all types of weatherAbility to react in emergency situationsNo smoking on the property.About Paisley ParkPaisley Park is an active museum, state-of-the-art recording studio, and concert venue.
