Job description

Your primary responsibilities as a Museum Experience Associate include ensuring an enjoyable, educational, and safe visit for all our guests and an unforgettable experience, as well as promoting the museum as a whole during private tours, special events and exhibitions.

Compensation:
$16.00 / hour
Museum Experience Associate Essential Functions:
  • Greet museum visitors on arrival with a warm and inviting welcome.
  • Provide directions for visitors to purchase tickets at our kiosks.
  • Answer general inquiries about museum operations, The Wynwood Walls app, Wi-Fi, special exhibits, and events.
  • Demonstrate basic knowledge of artists and works within the museum.
  • Provide the highest level of customer service to all visitors.
  • Contribute to the execution of special activities and programs, including setup and breakdown.
  • Manage the operation of specific exhibits, including queuing and crowd control.
  • Work collaboratively with the Events team as needed.
  • Attend all required meetings and report all unsafe conditions immediately.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by the supervisor, including cross-training.

Requirements
  • Previous experience in a customer service or Hospitality role required; experience in a museum, live entertainment or amusement park a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a diverse group of clients and guests, and a team player.
  • Flexibility in working hours, as some evening and weekend work is required.
  • Must be fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
