Job description

Come and join the team at the world-famous Wynwood Walls Museum!!
The primary responsibilities as a Museum Education Tour & Activities Associate will include conducting guided tours of the property. Additionally, assisting in sales and upgrades to ensure the best, most informative experience for each guest who visits The Wynwood Walls.

Compensation:
$16.00 / hour + sales commission
Essential Functions:
• Conduct engaging, accurate, and inviting museum tours for guests who purchase tour tickets.
• Demonstrate specific and in-depth knowledge of the artists presenting at the walls.
• Keep informed and updated on artist changes on the walls and in the galleries, incorporating this knowledge in guided tours.
• Provide high-level customer service during tours and be able to adapt to each group's specific needs.
• Assist guests at the tour registration desk with inquiries about guided tours.
• Assist in the purchasing and upselling of tours to guests.
• Assist with rebooking, upgrades, or phone inquiries regarding general operations when needed.
Requirements
• Previous experience in a Hospitality role required; museum or amusement park is a plus.
• Some knowledge of the Wynwood District is required.
• Some knowledge of graffiti and street artists is required; knowledge of different graffiti styles and how to use spray cans and
caps is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a diverse group of clients and guests, and a team player.
• Ability to manage in outdoor conditions, including adverse weather and high heat.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Fluency in English is required; Spanish or a second language is a plus.
• Flexibility in working hours, as some evening and weekend work is required.
