Description

The Administrative Assistant will be a part of the Exhibits, Membership, and Programming departments. They will assist the Museum team with Exhibits content, public programming, and Membership administration. Responsibilities

  • Primary - Administrative Tasks: Processing large amounts of data, data entry and review, and organizing physical and digital files.
  • Secondary - Public Programming: ย Assist with the planning, prep, and running of public programs.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

Some projects will require early morning/evening and weekend work while the Museum is closed, so schedule flexibility is a must. The best candidate for this position will have strong organizational and time management skills and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Proficiency in office tools such as the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and ability to quickly learn new software are needed. This position will work at both the Museum and our off-site facility, so you must be over 21 years of age and hold a valid driver's license to drive our company vehicles.
